sick again.

i think being sick will be the norm around here. we ate at Boxing Cat Brewery last nt with dave's coworkers. total expat hangout. safe food right? wrong. there we had restaurant brewed beer (i wasn't that impressed) which was quite potent, and i had braised beef ribs while dave had bbq pork ribs cajun style. my food tasted chinese to be honest although it was supposed to be american southern style food, so it wasn't that good. dave loved his. well after i got home, i felt sick. it coulda been the half raw burger i had at the bbq (hey i was hungry and was tired of eating hot dogs), other potluck items, the alcohol or dinner. i woke up this morning with stomach pains and diarrhea and was gagging. dave had toilet troubles and hives. we were both in bad shape. i'm beginning to wonder if we will ever get used to what we eat and drink here. can't they just wash their hands and use purified water?
